When we mentioned CD quality MP3s, we were referring to the first one @ 128kbps.. Please don't get us wrong here, we are professionals and try very hard to please everyone in this forum, but don't be put off by a poorly explained/understood comment..
Hi, besides the fact that this contest sucks, the CD is a invention from a man with the name Russel and later Philips in Holland ! And MP3*128 has nothing to do with CD quality Bory! And Sony and Philips made it what it is now together in a later stadium.

Hmm.. I was under the impression that Sony was the original inventor of the CD, I guess bringing it to market is different than inventing it..
Good point David
Also how do you explain the fact that when I try to save a file, for example in Sound Forge, it states that 128kbps MP3 is CD quality.. And it goes up to 320kbps, which is considered transparent CD quality...??
Much appreciated

I e-mailed you for the link for the vocal and it didn't work, sounds like i didn't miss much anyway, your '128kbps' CD quality claim is rubbish and is probably based on some housewife market research as to what the average consumer will not be able to tell the difference between CD quality and various MP3 quality (which i actually have read somewhere is 192kbps anyway) and nothing to do with actual technical specifications for CD format.
I mean lets not be "silly" any audio professional would know that CD is 16bit 441000hz and
the bit rate is 1411.2 kbps:
44,100 samples per second × 16 bits per sample × 2 channels = 1,411,200 bit/s = 1,411.2 kbit/s.

haven't you been ridiculed enough?
In my life
Why do I smile
At people who I'd much rather kick in the eye?

I hope you paid for that copy of Soundforge you can't use.
Comn, even the n00bieist numpty knows that a 128kbps MP3 is not anything equivalent to CD quality. You're obliviously having a laugh here, I really don't think anybody here will be taking you seriously.
I bet all these DJ's and radio stations will be just delighted when you hit them up with a 128mbps mp3.
Get a life FFS
