Does it matter to the awed onlookers? It looks like he's doing stuff anyway.

its a new concept in electronic music. Modeselektor unplugged. Its implied music. Everyone just imagines the most kick ass show happening.
They're among my favourite producers right now. Happy Birthday is a great album, although the Album Cover is a strong contender for this webste...

hehe..... that's funny!
Mtv could do a whole series on unplugged electronic artists....
Autechre.... unplugged!
Aphex Twin.... unplugged!
Tiesto... unplugged! hehe... that would be a good one.

modeselektor are easily one of the best live electronic acts around right now. ive seen them 3 times in the last year and every show was completely different and completely amazing.

agreed. I caught them at Glade 2 years ago and they were freakin awesome. Then they came to Bristol and tore up the place despite the system being complete shite in the bass department.
My mate's just fucked off to Berlin to see them as well.
Bastard.

I checked them out briefly and was mildly surprised, I thought it was going to be a four on the floor snooze/nausea fest for me but I dig some of their songs.

Saw Modeselektor in Melbourne at the "We Love Sounds " gig a little while back.
The spill from the stages either side of them was so bad, it ruined the whole gig.
Major disappointment. I was really looking forward to this class act.

i've seen them in seattle and in nyc recently - highly recommended.
in nyc, they passed out plastic cups to the first few rows and poured out healthy portions of vodka (stoli, i believe!) before the show.
class!
