Please Help! How do I route Midi from Live into Cubase SX 2?

Hi, I'm losing my mind here. I'm trying to figure out how I can route a midi pattern in Live to a VSTi in Cubase SX 2. Anyone know how? Reason I want to know is I want to be able to program my midi patterns for my powercore virus in Live and have it played in Cubase SX which has full PDC. I'm not a newbie but I have no clue how this is done, so if someone knows can you please not just say how but explain the steps in doing so, much appreciated

You can't-Live's the slave,and hence doesn't send MIDI.The only way you can do it is to export the MIDI clips using the export selected MIDI clips option and import them into SX.
