I believe it is Tone, the one's with (operator) in the name if not then hell I haven't a clue where they are, these packs have a habit of hiding from you

...oh, and I also hate how Live Packs just get "absorbed" (good phrase) into the Library; Ableton likes to make out like we have such control over the Library, but in many ways we don't.

aerhm, yes, exactly. That's how I felt after installing the EIC.

I start playing with the new presets, I look for more and I always end up opening every goddamn folder in the Library, just in case. is it a rack? audio or midi? simpler or sampler or impulse? operator?!?! did the file manglement system work to begin with? buzz kill. I go from making music to using a computer.

When i first came on to LIVE this used to piss me off no end..
Now i kinda sorta like this aspect as i'll often come across stuff i didn't know i had while looking for the stuff i know i am supposed too..
Its the DAW equivalent of finding money down the back of the sofa..

Over the years I bought three or four packs from trackteam, some stuff from the covops and downloaded some free packs from puremagnetik. And got the suuite from ableton.

I believe I only barely scratched on the surface of all of these packs.

Ya, first thing I did was move all the (operator) kits to it's own folder. I don't want them just thrown in to the kits folder with all those zillions of drum machine kits.

And ya, same here, I had to go looking for them. Pain in the ass every time you install a live pack. Is it an instrument rack? Is it under the sellers name? Or is it under operator or sampler? can be frustrating.

Please note that all of the music examples in the Flash player are also provided as part of the Live Pack. Check your Library's Clips folder for a folder called "Designer Drums."

those samples do sound very nice.

alls i need is live 7 suite no?

will dl tonight.

the hats sound especially good on some of those kits. i could never get hats to sound right with operator for some reason.
