Louis C.K

And even though David Cross has already been mentioned, both Shut Up You Fucking Baby and It's Not Funny are absolute classics in my opinion.

50-ish years of Cosby standup should be added to the list.
He isn't the most edgy comedian and I only started going over his material recently. But the man can do 3 shows of 3 hours in a day. And its a completely different style. Its a rare form of storytelling.

Take Chris Rock's new HBO special for example.. The dude has to travel the world to get 90 minutes. And the last 20 minutes was like a recap of the end of his previous rant on marriage. Still funny though..

Patton Oswalt is my favorite at the moment. Though I wish he did more albums. The last one "Werewolves and lollipops" kicked ass.

Rumor has it that Robin Williams is popping up in small clubs over the US. You know what that means...

That Mitchell and Webb Sound (sublime British radio sketch comedy)

+1 for Carlin, I love all his stuff, the angry the hippie and the edgy

If you want to hear a lot of great comics, hunt down the Comedy Central Dr Katz show DVDs and rip em to audio, as theyre mostly talkie anyway. Most of the above comics are featured at some point or another.
