music created by intellectually disabled people & LIVE
Hello everyone, I started this project back in Feb 08 and thought some of you may find it interesting. Live 7 and a macbook are at the heart of the set-up that make this project possible.
You can check out some of the music at www.myspace.com/tralalablip
One band that is part of the tra la la blip collective is getting national radio play here in Australia on JJJ FM. It is quite special for them to get such exposure and recognition.
Live plays a big part in this little project.
enjoy, peace.

i'm sorry but this music is just fucking brilliant.
its like some kind of aphex twin parody. I dont know if its supposed to make me laugh and and make me feel happy, but it does. Maybe richard d james actually has his music made by the mentally handicapped, i dont know. but tell them all it fucking rocks.

Yeah, if it makes you smile, that is great! I'll pass that on to the musicians, they'll be smiling back.

you ought to get in touch with the BBC 'disability' podcast - http://www.bbc.co.uk/ouch/podcast/
Some friends of mine present it, and they are always on the lookout for articles.

we printed 100 copies
We did 100 CD's each cover individually stamped/art and numbered by the artists. I think there's about 29 left.
I didn't think about people outside of australia wanting a copy and i haven't set up any payment method yet!
I'll have to get it sorted i guess.
anyways, thanks for all the nice feedback, I will pass it on to all the artists.

thanks Angstrom
Thanks Angstrom,
who at BBC should I contact?
who at BBC should I contact?
I just noticed that their site is particularly shit on the "contact us" front, the real email is very hidden, obviously I normally send them stupid links in their personal mailboxes so I didn't realise they were on such a "1992" website there.
your best bet is the address :
ouch@bbc.co.uk
