What a great project! My mom worked/served as director of a local chapter of "Arc" in my area, so I've been fortunate to have pretty much a lifelong exposure through service and activities with the intellectually disabled. I love to see any project that presents their innocence and beauty in a good light, unless you have been fortunate enough to spend time around "special" it would be hard to understand how something inside just brings a smile to your face and lights up your day.....just by being near to them. From the reactions of several people here, the music captures exactly that....great job!
You haven't seen anybody enjoy music until you attend a dance activity for the intellectually disabled and "celebration" is played! hehe Just thinking about it makes me smile.
I would suggest that maybe you put a bit more information on your myspace....explaining more perhaps your motivation with this project. Just the chance to create the music is noble in itself, but you could really turn this into a huge campaign for advocacy, I would gladly jump on board and help in a project that either provided advocacy and/or funding for advocacy for the intellectually disabled.... I think that the PBS/broadcast channels would be a great start.
Every social group/cause ends up advocating for their rights, for understanding and respect....but this group simply cannot advocate for itself. For obvious reasons they need help, and a project like this helps them be involved in the advocacy process because it really is THEIR voice!

That is absolutely brilliant. I have contact with disabled people of all kinds in my job and i've got to say I think a lot of them would enjoy doing this - and benefit from it.
I think you could make use great use of one of these: http://www.zzounds.com/item--ALEAIRFX
This music tops about 90% of everything else out there at the moment. Brilliant. I'd email the Ableton folks just to show them - I think they'll like this.

Great Music you've created. really enjoyed and smiled while listening.
esp. the voices are intense.
Your project really inspires me, as i work with disabled people too. We've done
several "Classic" music related stuff like percussion- and singing stuff. but
to take it on the electronic level would open up a really new experience for them and the music.....
will see what the german "caritas" will respond to my list of music equipment
i'll want to buy for the project...LOL
thx for inspiration
