Looks pretty bueno, and it looks like it will be going for $400....can't beat that for some monophonic analogue synth action. Very nice.......

yes it looks very interesting. what is the difference with the evolver?
i mean: both are analog, monophonic, and have a step sequencer... does the mopho have less features (probably yes) but which ones?

I REALLY want one of these. Unfortunately, I've spent all my money on faderfoxes, so it'll have to wait until after Christmas. Unless I can convince my kids that all they want for Christmas is an analogue monosynth!

I've had one for about a week.

Love the sound.

Haven't gotten the MAC editor to work yet. (too many projects). Hopefully this weekend.

So? What's the consensus? Good bit o' kit, or fun toy?

Not bloody bad for £250...! I'm sure you could make up some of the 'missing' features of the eVolver with some crafty MIDI effects in Live (and the Grain Delay!)

no, not a toy. friend of mine just got rid of 5 vintage analog synths he was so happy with the mopho's sound (i don't claim to be an expert, but didn't disagree with his decision). though i guess some of this turns on how much you want immediate access to parameters (i like lots of knobs).
