Faderport - Ableton Live - Native?

Post by e.maynard » Tue Nov 11, 2008 7:21 pm

Is there a Template or .pdf showing what buttons control which Ableton Live functions?
Is there continued development or progress being made on the Beta Driver.
Any chance that Ableton will have this listed in their Native Support options?

What's the general feedback regarding the Faderport & Live?

Thanks!
Erik

I am interested in this too. I just contacted Presonus and got this reply today:
Currently there is no support for Ableton Live, but that will be developed for the FaderPort soon.

Unfortunately we have no ETA on that driver.

Actually, their regular (new) driver supports Live:

Furthermore...
From Presonus:

The Live driver is now out of beta and is downloadable from our site here:

http://presonus.com/technical-suppor...vers-software/

When you download the driver, the documentation is in the new version 2 manual which can be downloaded here:

Hope this helps.

Kind Regards,

Do you own a Faderport?

I just watched a few videos on the Faderport and the Alphatrack and based on that I think I prefer the alphatrack by Frontier Designs.

The alphatrack is definitely Live compatible.
