i think that is the day that ableton will lose the plot, communication is the key to any relationship and they are severely hadicapped in that regard. remember how hard that stale bread guy had to work just to get you lot drumracks/slicing. I believe the proper term for ableton is. "they are really on one"
that said i'm addicted.

And you think there is no relation and no need for communication between a company/product and its customers?Johnisfaster wrote:what relationship? it's a business and you're a customer.o0o wrote:communication is the key to any relationship
How about communicating why .12 stays in time-expiring beta for more than two months already eventhough it fixes regular crashes? Obviously Ableton is too busy coding Live 8 to finish ongoing maintenance tasks!?
I am curious if Live 8 will fix at least one of the issues that are known since its publication or nearly afterwards. Guess who's gonna remind everyone about european warranty laws and company<->customer relationships then?
Nah, actually we're too busy doing hard drugs.Crash wrote: Obviously Ableton is too busy coding Live 8 to finish ongoing maintenance tasks!? :?

Hopefully it won't have the multicolored silhouettes of various instruments on the box like the last few versions.
You bet! But this time the box comes with cardboard 3d glasses...

OK, that's it then. Live 7.0.10 is the last official version of live. Make music with it. The company has stopped developing ... exactly. And I think now it is time to reveal a new Live 8 feature: We found a way to better visualize parallel effect chains: They are layered on top of each other and with 3D glasses you can look into the different layers. The new 3D engine will also allow to program flights thru the effect chains. We still do not offer Wacom tablet support, but you can fly all the way from the arranger via session to the preferences using a Wii remote.
Dom, do you have more of that stuff. My portion is already gone?
