It was publicity stunt done by kind of local scientology or US evangelist stylee pseudo religious sect callied "art of living" kind of canned spirituality for not intellectually demanding. Like usual in the religious biz dummer it is better it sales

I expected the sound of 1000 sitars to be like ... a Level 5 cyclone tornado or something ...

blame the codecs, or the p.a.s but sounded so underhwelming ...

Yep .. It comes over as more a visual thing than sonic thing... I mean who ever would have thought that one bamboo flute could almost drown out 1000 sitars? Shheeesh!
