I don't understand how they could get so popular.

oh yeah, no doubt that shit is absolutely dreadful. they're banking on kids who are kids and just love cheesy ass music. kids will always love bad music. good taste is acquired.

I must say this made me ill to my stomach. Looks like just another fad, love to say we hate it, but the facts are that these guys probably get hookers and blow every night because of this junk.

It seems formulaic... They seem to use cheerleader cheers as their vocal hooks.

They sound just like this group: myspace.com/Millionaires

Bwahahahaha.

I'm quite offended to have that come out of my fine monitors but equally amused by the idea that we should be concerned about the popularity of stuff like this.

Crazy Frog lasted long didn't it? Seriously, this is a poorly assembled collection of noises aimed at people who don't really like music, they just heard that it was important to have at parties. the kind of people who buy those rediculous hard dance anthems compilation discs etc and play it to drown out the nonsense in their own heads. I crimped out a more tonally pleasing offering earlier on. Maybe I have what it takes after all....

they just got a ton of free promotion from that link, including me, more hits to brag about and although terrible, it's just like the terrible Barbie Girl kind of stuff with super cheesy happy hardocre type sounds which was a #1 hit in many european countries and some girl who looks like she wanted to be in a Siouxsie and The Banshees tribute band but all she could find was some talentless lunkhead with Fruity Loops and no clue.
