Huge Video Tutorial pack available - discounted for 3 days!

Post by Nick the Zombie » Fri Nov 28, 2008 9:56 pm

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that for the next 3 days, My affiliate and I will be offering a value-priced package consisting of our 3 full video tutorial products. Included are:

The Ultimate Ableton Tutorial package
A Comprehensive Miniseries on Advanced Warping
Sound Design and Creative Audio Manipulation in Ableton Live

These tutorial series are worth a combined $75, but for the next 3 days (until midnight of November 30th) we are offering the full package for $44.94. The best part about this package deal is that you can download and view the whole thing for a mere $1 trial amount. If you decided you want to keep the tutorials, you will be billed 2 monthly installments of $22.47.

Also, we are offering each of the products to be individually purchased at lowered prices (Roughly 30% off each tutorial set). All of these products are increasing in price very soon, but we wanted to give people the opportunity to take advantage of the holiday pricing now before that happens.

Check out http://www.musicsoftwaretraining.com/3in1holiday for more!

Thanks for the head's up from everyone about the broken link for the individual offer on the warping vids. We're going to get that fixed ASAP. Everything else is working, though, including the main 3 in 1 $1 offer. Also, thanks for the great feedback so far from our Ableton forum peeps!

Hey Nick, I have a suggestion.

Have you considered maybe putting up some example videos, so potential customers can get a feel for the size, video quality, sound quality, etc.

Take a look at lynda.com as an example, they usually allow potential customers to preview a couple of the videos, this way you get a feel for the quality of what you might be buying.

I did just notice that you have a video link on your main page, but even that isn't really obvious enough, in my opinion.

Also, have you considered a site re-design?

Much respect to you for taking the time to put together these tutorials, seriously, but maybe you would do better if your information were organized a little better and presented in a more appealing way?

Smutek,

I really appreciate the feedback man. You are absolutely right about everything you said, and in fact I am working on a ground-up redesign for the site right now. The site I have right now is very "functional," in that it presents information but is far from ideal in terms of presentation. I am also going to put together some more preview videos for the new site.

For now, my free videos on Youtube actually give a pretty good idea about the content (although obviously not a very good indicator of size or image quality). Those can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/oubliettezombie.

Thanks again for the input!

Right on Nick.

I'd try to get it done in time for Christmas, there will probably be lots of new folks buying ableton around then and it might be a great time for your tutorials.

Have you considered just using a pre-designed template?

Best of luck to you in your endeavor man!

Yep, those are my thoughts as well! I have a lot of work to get done before Christmas, but it will be worth it. You're right, even a predesigned template would look better than my current site

Thanks again for the kind words.

Great work. I also agree with smutek on his ideas.

I might also suggest extending the discount (or a different discount) given the bad economy and this being the biggest spending weekend of the year coupled with rent being due and a lot of people are probably waiting for the dust to settle before making any more purchases, as cheap as this is.

Bring on the Christmas spirit

Much appreciated. Re: the economy, I have done a LOT of brainstorming about that. I'm always thinking up different ways of offering value to current and potential customers. For now, we are experimenting with the $1 trial period and discounted prices. This will give us really great feedback on whether we should offer similar deals in the future.

The offer site was down for a bit but we're back up and running. Server issues are a bitch

Update: Roughly 12 hours to go if you want to take advantage of this deal. I swear I'll stop bumping this thread when the promotion stops :)

LOL... I'm glad you bumped it. I wouldn't have seen it otherwise. I can't believe how awesome this deal is. Your videos are so much more than I was expecting... simply outstanding!
