HAL: I know I've made some very poor decisions recently, but I can give you my complete assurance that my work will be back to normal. I've still got the greatest enthusiasm and confidence in the mission. And I want to help you.

how is he overlooked?
everyone knows who he is
he is played on almost every station in the usa durring 80's hour
and he is always on vh1

i think he might be overlooking himself by not coming out with anything great since the 80's

im tired of his music.

but it also would suck if i never got to hear it again.

he's overlooked because whenever great voices are mentioned he's hardly mentioned and he's one of the greatest.

he is good but he is not influential
there is a difference.

I've always kinda seen him as being the Gary Glitter of the 80's/90's, but with out the freak on for little kids...

I've always avoided him due to the fact that I can't stand the thought of the massive, massive amounts of quality poon he must've gotten.

Oh, and his music is totally superficial. But not anything like as bad as the machine drivel that's being force fed the unthinking masses.

I got to see him acoustic once, freaking amazing show, he was genuinely having a great time playing and his guitar player totally killed it that night.

http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=0EsN9BUHOKI <--- sweet sixteen acoustic, looks like there's a handful of acoustic links from a VH1 show.
