Best thing I heard/bought this year was the Sunken Foal alubum on Planet Mu.... but I buy very little music these days, so not sure how relevant my opinion is :)

One of my faves was Detrimentalist by Venetian Snares. The track "Bebikukorica Nigiri" is particularly good*.
