the two tracks which have been outstanding for me this year are:

1. Rich Of Madness (GTMK Remix) - Philipp Straub (Felipe)
2. switch the lights (motorcitysoul remix) - jay haze

both are rather dark n' deep, but yummy.

I know its a piss take, I know I shouldn't like it but that is one damn fine album in my book. I'm sure it would have been viewed a lot better if they hadn't done the TV series first.
nothing wrong with liking them, they are bloody amazing musicians and funny, too :D

Dang, I cashed out of this thread a long time ago because I knew it was going to become Cirque du Obscure. I'll have to check this out when I get home.....if the link is still active.

I keep meaning to get the TV series on DVD and the radio series on CD so I can rip the tracks that aren't on the album. Might treat myself as its Christmas (nearly).

Apparently the new TV series is airing in January.

most of you people have really horrible taste in music, especially the guy who recommended dark forest trance...wtf is that? i went to the website and they have what looks like a nomb and troll video game for the cover of there cd.

and then there was the video on the new yorker website with the chick doing sign language while singing.

what the hell are you people thinking?

this is all horrible music except for death cab which is just mediocre.

the only thing i can say that was decent that came out this year is m83's saturdays=youth
thats it...everything else has been blah.

A good album, Graveyard Girl is simply perfect. Not a great album though in my opinion, especially in comparison with their / his other albums Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts and Before the Dawn Heals Us, which are two of my favourite albums ever. Each to own their though.
