Yes. all the experience gained while using it went into this light, portable unit. It features the same industrial grade controls, the same spacious layout, and it comes with a stunning 25 years warranty for all metal parts !!!

I heard that it comes free with Live 8 Suite. The only problem is Live 8 suite will cost £50,000.

we don't know the price yet. But keep in mind you'll need a flight case. Well, actually, a lot of them. We though of a smaller version first, but after talking to some top-notch producers, we came up with what you see on the picture.

I'm circuit bending a Rubik's Cube into a clip/scene launcher. It's semi-modular.

btw the new controllers will be awesome,

they'll come in three flavors,
faders crossfader transport type
buch of buttons type
bunch of rotary knobs type
and side by side won't be much wider than you'll laptop
downside is they will be pure midi only, no usb
but they will be colorful
and german built tough
sorry not much visual feedback than a few leds,
but people will love them
and their website will be sort of cryptic, in a cool way
with a cool endless .gif animation loop
and they will ... -oh!

I notice teh VST version of this controller (I'm on beta.) has drop shadows - is that something you can add to the final hardwared version?

I'm inclined to believe that sharing a booth at trade shows may be the extent of the ableton/cycling partnership.

In their next creative partnership they will be carpooling with native instruments.

Yes. this is sooooo cool. You take the pen, click with it on the glass of the green screen ( clonk! ), wait for half a second and something happens. It is übercool!!!
