Live 6 - screen freeze on "program change" command

Hello,

Running live 6.0.10, Edirol PCR-500, Macbook Pro 2.33 ghz, 2Gb ram

when sending program changes to a VST, the screen locks up if I move too fast. the program still responds to incoming midi information, so i still hear sound. however, if i press play, nothing happens. the button highlights and nothing else occurs. additionally, any sound that is triggered by my keyboard doesn't register on the volume indicator bars next to the volume sliders. however -- also, equally as strange, if I go to quit the program, the screen "unlocks" behind the "do you want to save" dialog box. If I cancel, the screen re-locks.

any ideas??? this is a very bizzare bug and i use ableton for playing live gigs. any help is much appreciated!

Still an issue with Live 7.0.10 on MacBook! Exactly same behavior as you describe. REALLY annoying...

Ableton? HELP!
