I wonder if midi yoke will pick this up as a midi device?

I don't see why it would/could. It's a HID device. But with some trickery and a layer (Max, PD...) between it and Live - it could be done.

Reminds me of the Nostromo that was popular around here a few years back. It does the same thing. Allows you to assign macros/sequences of keys... This looks a bit more futuristic, though.

why bother, though? It's a computer keyboard, they'll work just fine with Ableton Live, out of the box :)

That was my first thought!

It would be nice to really put all of Ableton Lives(s)hot keys on one device smaller then a keyboard! As I've ran out of room on my desk! Too much crap.


Another idea is if someone created a piano keyboard that had a slide out PC keyboard, push button and keyboard slides back in!!!
