I dont think they will be releasing it, just a guess.

I am in the process of rewriting my own piece of software which i hope to release one day(check my signature below).

But for now you can use a device called midi>dmx > http://www.cinetix.de/interface/english/midmxbox.htm

Its is VERY basic but should get you going.

Hope this helps.

Regards.
Paul.

Have you checked MIDI to DMX converters? Like this one:

or this:

Edit: Oops, see also previous posting.

Look into a lighting board that accepts midi, where you set up lighting scenes. It gets really fantastic as to what you can do with lights, and even mix in video projectors all sequenced to live.

Check out this video of my band Promonium Jesters, where we use basic home lighting with just flood lights and standard pot light bulbs rigged up to tripods, all sequenced from live. The video is controlled from another laptop running Arkaos sync'd through airport wirelessly, so we can put the projector anywhere it works depending on the venue.

It really gets awesome (refer to my video) when you slap an arpeggiator on the lights and rip off a lighting solo to the music.

I was hoping for a plug-in to do simple dimmer stuff, I run a Grand MA for a living, but want to keep it simple and cheap, the DMXIS seemed to be the answer, but I think they dropped it. I like the converters, but not sure on how you program the lights with it (doing effects etc.). I dig the vid, btw

Eh what?

We are in the Beta, and have been so for more then a year. There is def progress. Though its a one man show and hes occupied with other things also.
Its perhaps not the fastest going beta, but its moving on!

It will be done when its done, but I can tell you its looking very nice already! :-) To me its by far the nicest lighting vst ive herd about. Logical and simple to use, while very versatile! Perfect with Live.

elation cyberpak.
it accepts 4 midi notes and triggers 4 channels of dimming voltage for whatever you feel like plugging into it. velocity controls brightness.

have fun.
