New Follow Action: "Any but self"
Just like "Any" but shouldn't ever trigger itself.
Could be called "Other", "Any Other" or similar.

I was just scanning the forum to see if this topic had been covered. A MUST ADD FEATURE!

Fantastic Idea! I think this feature could use a bit of work...I've been having trouble setting the quantize setting to lower than 1 bar...have notified the abletons and they say it will be fixed but no updatae yet....
Also would like to see added a "switch at end" option so that you do not have to set an exact length for longer samples.
what do others think of this?
thx

Yes, agreed.
Maybe of-topic but we are nudging a quest for a simple scripting ability. The most obvious choices should be explicit in the GUI. But at custom level it whould be interesting to add you own conditions.
While the clip layout is a kind av grid, conditions may be constructed as
play (x,y) if (x1,y1,pos1).finished() AND (x2,y2,pos2).passed() AND !(x3,y3).silent() ...
Ad infinitum.

I could REALLY use this for lighting pan/tilt. I use random follow actions to move the lights around beatmatched, and it ruins the effect when the pan and/or tilt head decides to stay on the existing pan or tilt position for more than one beat.
Surely that's an easy piece of implementation... along with the hundreds of other requests!
