hiya

i am making hiphop with some techno, electro, orchestral sounds. i'm looking for a some new synths and wondered what you guys are feeling right now.

any help will be very much appreciated!
1.6ghz dual core laptop, 1.5 gig ram - Live 6, Massive, Albino, Z3ta, Battery, Morphine, Dominator. Alesis io2, Edirol pcr-30 midi keyboard, perception 100 mic and shure sm 58 mic.

I find myself twiddling around w/Rob Papen's Albino3 and Predator, along with Sylenth1.

Reason's tools ReWired into Ableton = Love.

Plus I would get the Camel Audio Alchemy For your orchestral sounds, that way you're not too typical. Second the Minimoog V or MiniMonsta.

Another shout for Sylenth1 - it's just fan-bloody-amazing!

I also use Operator (great for basses), Absynth (great for textures), Zebra2 (good all-rounder).

If you want some acid, you can't go far wrong with ABL2.

Not sure how 'new' it is but the free Genesis VST sounds fookin incredible:

Not many presets but highly tweakable.

Got mine free with CM mag (Had to order a back-issue as found out about it a bit late...)

May be able to get it elsewhere with some nifty searching....?
