Hi, all.

Thanks for all your longing to the beta.

We are dead now. It is almost 08:00 in the morning and we have found same really annoying bugs. So we will first sleep for some hours and then fix them during the saturday until you will get the software.

So stay tuned, and sorry for the delay.

Regards, Bernd.

No need to be sorry....

Get some damn sleep. I don't want sleepy and cranky programmers working on a product that I'm going to rely on in a live situation! :-)

Rest up and start again fresh...

A day or two more isn't going to kill us. [it might kill you, though...]

i was at work when i heard about the new version and saw the screenshots. i got all giddy like a schoolgirl when i read through the featurelist. as much as i tried to explain, my audio-tarded coworkers failed to share my excitement. they just looked at me like i was fresh off the express bus from mars as i jumped around screaming "woohoo! live 2! i can't wait to see what it can do!".

of course, it's always the last few hours that last the longest. many thanks to all the ableton guys. y'all deserve props. mad props. hella mad props even.

Heads up, people at ableton!

Though, like others and you too, I took my saturday off from other tasks, to go the beta-course, I must say: Take your time, and if it's serious trouble, take even more time to relax and come back on monday, to start off again.
As you can see here, there will be enough people left, that will do tests during the next week. Just look how greedy everyone is. I think we all do appreciate very much that you run these public beta-testing within your your dev-cycles. Don't distress yourself too much...

But maybe you should post your guidlines for testing in advance, so we may be well prepared, when it's finally on...

Waiting for the X version myself...
I just got an extra 256mb module for my new pb867.
Knowing how hard it is to meet s/w deadlines, my heart (and later my $$) goes to the Ableton people, giving up their precious Berlin weekend (And maybe some of their vacation) for the deadline.
Good luck.
ps - suggestion - Open a Beta forum. That way, you'll get less multi bug reports.
