So is Max 4 Live included in the suite upgrade or is it an add-on to that as well?

Not included by the looks of it.
As a Live 7.0 user with all the synths but not the suite, I'm getting $229 for Suite upgrade, $189 for normal live (downloads). For upgrade to 8.0 box, it's $299 for suite and $229 for normal.

149 Euros for the basic upgrade?
I don't think so.

The upgrade is mighty steep for the suite -- $309 for the download version, $189 the non-suite download version.
I already own the actual AAS modeling instruments, so getting the suite version isn't really in the cards for me.

I own L7 boxed. It quotes me Live 7 to Live 8 Upgrade (Download) EUR 149.
Looks like a true bargain!

so what happens if you have the Live 7 suite? Do you get the upgrades to the instruments you already have? I hope so.

I own Abe Suite 7. So I can pay $40 more than just the Live7>8 upgrade and I get Collision and Latin Instruments. That's cool, but still $229 is a lot.

That's what I'm trying to figure out. What do you get in the Suite upgrade vs. the regular upgrade, other than Collision and Latin Instruments. Because the videos show this whole new "sound library". Is that part of Live 8 or just the suite?
