plugs ins for mac

how are u doing veterans livers.
I just bought myself a mac and I need some good plug ins for my new machine since my dll files don't work with mac. where can I find some good plug ins
Alsoo the most important things are orchestral strings and brass. Thx for your help

Automat is a great free os x-only synth. Check it out.

EIC is enoough witha good standlaone synth and a decent sample collection :)
Althhogh 'Drum machine' sounds pretty tastey :)

Well, if you need those standard rompler sounds you should look into Kontakt 3.

Not only is it the best (in the general publics opinion) software sampler in the game, nowdays it also comes with a GREAT library that will rival any 2000 dollar flagship rompler.

So you don't really need to use it as a sampler, but if you want to there's a whole new world of tweaking open for your pleasure.
