Maybe it simply comes down to how much hard currency you've sent their way.

I got a coupon (30€), my Live history goes: 5 upgrade to 6 upgrade to 7 Suite.

I doubt the newsletter has anything to do with it, most likely it is down to the history of your license - how long you've had it, how many upgrades, current version etc.

Or maybe Ableton just don't like some of you.
