OT: Golden Throat
Soz, no filth here...
Was considering what kind of device I'd make with Max/MSP and started to reminice over an old school effect by Electroharmonix called the Golden Throat.
First heard it on 'Frampton Comes Alive' and unfortunatly many years later by Bon Jovi.
Never owned one though feeling somewhat nostalgic today so may see if I can buy me one...

Live (yoghurt) - MBP- Circuit Bent Rampant Rabbit - Mongolian Nose Flute - 'The Marvelous Mechanical Mouse Organ' (on loan from Bagpuss) and a Swanee Whistle made from a used heroin syringe.
That's a thing called a talkbox, joe Walsh also used to use one.
They're a metal box with a 100w horn speaker inside, the outlet is a plastic tube which you put in your mouth, down which all that sound travels. You then put your mouth in front of a vocal mic and mouth the vowels while playing the guitar.
If you over use them they can actually damage your teeth, allegedly.
If you can make one of those in Max, I think you'd be doing pretty well, and would deserve the title of "miracle worker"

They do, as well as they use vocoders and everything else...
