Quiet on my cpu or but very loud on my ipod

Post by blingstef » Thu Jan 29, 2009 5:28 pm

Hey wassup veterans livers?

I have some tracks that are very quiet when I play them on my cpu but get louder than all the other tracks when i put them on my ipod (If i don't limit the maxmimun volume on the Ipod). You can even feel the volume going up.
example: ayo technology by 50 and justin timberlake, or foolish (remix) by shawty lo.
Even on youtube, daylimotion or Tv, those tracks are quieter than the rest but when its on my ipod it's louder.

So is it an Ipod problem or a mastering trick?

Try turning volume check off on your ipod.
It's called computer not a cpu. If you're producing music you may find this information helpful.
