I don't get it.
I'll post a link below to a vid it is pretty basic in what it says but gets the point
what i'd like to add that it misses is
people post links or u can to anything of interest.
if you use some clients you can post photos as well
It forgets to mention the different clients some are very sophisticated in what you can search for and a ton of other options.
Iphone has an app called twinkle that allows you to see people within a certain radius..
I went for a walk the other day with my dog.. I used twinkle to send tweets with photos from my iphone. showing them the mountains and where i lived.
It was easy as alls i did was take the iphone out login to twinkle type a short explaination and snap a photo which it attached to the tweet. did that a few times as I walked and a bunch of people got to see it.
Now for s a muso you could do this while at a concert a big event. while at a tech show. there are a ton of options and if you have some imagination u can fire stuff of interest around in a split second.
Twitter is great as it only takes 10 seconds to do it.
we are all busy and it's nice to get and send info quickly.
I also like that twitter can send my tweets straight to facebook as Posts and I dont have to login to facebook to do it Twitter can save u a lot of time and mucking about.

I was making an off color joke, but this sounds interesting. ever hear of Photosynth?
http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/view/id/129 <-- skip to 4:00 to get to the meat of it, it plays on this same idea.
In my life
Why do I smile
At people who I'd much rather kick in the eye?

If anyone is using Twitter, or wondering how it can be useful...

I've created a group at TwittGroups for Ableton users...

Your first 'follow' can be AbletonTweets:

Also set up a new blog for haunted house records which I am going to start making a lot of use of..

Got an intro to circuitbending article up there if anyone interested in that sort of thing.
