When playing back a Live Clip brought over from the library Live won't play 'about' the first bar of the loop. When the play head reaches 'about' the 2nd bar Instrument plays. This happens only the first time around... if the file has looped once it plays as normally thereafter.

I've also noticed a similar behavior when previewing Live Clips from the browser. And this is not quantize waiting to launch the clip. This is, play head reaches half way through clip before anything is audible.

do you still experience the same problem with the latest betas? What´s your computer/operating system?

Yes its still like this. Its only for Live clips... not audio. There is definitely lag when playing clips from the browser... it plays sometimes 3/4 of the clip to actually hear any thing come out.

thanks for the video! It looks like you are browsing/previewing clips from an (unconverted) Live 7 Library, correct? Can you reproduce the problem also with clips from the Live 8 library?

Hey jorg,
Yes... seems your right. I uninstalled the library (though it was set to "BetaLibrary" in the prefs) and reinstalled the Live 8 library. For the Beta Lib there is only Construction Kits and Drums folder inside the Clips folder... am I right? When previewing these the blue indicator bar gives a correct reading this time... however things are still a little more sluggish than I'd like to see. When clicking a clip it takes several seconds for it to start playing. This could mean my computer is total rubbish I guess. MBP 2.16 Intel Core Duo with 2GB RAM.

So how would I go about "converting" my older libraries?
