Turntables

I am looking for a turntable,to record old records in to the computer,and put the songs on CD.
What is the best?A USB turntable will do the job?
It is also important that Turntable must have 33-45-78 rpm.
Maybe this can do the job?

What is better a USB turntable or a regular turntable?

if you have a decent soundcard you won't need a usb-turntable, just get a used one from somewhere, get a new cartridge for it and connect it to your soundcard. you might need a preamp, depending on the model, some turntables have built in preamps.

recording vinyl to CDs is quite some work. in most cases it's easier to just download the stuff from somewhere and burn it to CD.

But listening to vinyl at home has a very nice feeling to it.

If i was you i'd surely go for a decent turntable from numark,vestax or technics. You will bay able to use them for a long time.
As with the cheaper ones or usb-ones i think they're basically not good quality (how they are produced and what materials are used), but depends on ur needs. So if you just want to digitalize old vinyl you can take the cheapest one you get.For soundquality i think the cartridge and the needle are the more important items, you should care about.
But basically a preamp will be needed if u use the stereo line out. If you go by usb, i dont think you'll need a preamp.

I only want to make some EXTRA money out of this.Maybe some people want to have their records on CD.

I only want to make some EXTRA money out of this.Maybe some people want to have their records on CD.

I'd like to reiterate what pepezabala said. Recording vinyl to cd is a lot of work and in my opinion, a very inefficient way to make money (unless people feel like paying well for it, which I've found is not often the case or or you're doing a large archival project).
If you've got a lot of time on your hands and like chopping up individual files, rendering them, importing them into itunes or whatever and burning them and feel as though you can make some dough, go for it. I don't want to talk you out of it, but I did it (on two occasions) for favors for other people and each time I told myself I would never do it again. Unless, someone says please digitize my 1000+ lp collection and you can justify the time commitment and find some sort of software that automatically detects track-breaks and chops them up and renders them for you.
If that's the case, I would recommend getting a technics 1200 and be done with it. I do not see a cheap usb turntable being capable of handling that kind of workload. Plus from an investment perspective, a usb turntable will considerably lose their value the second you purchase it. a 1200 will typically last forever and you'll have no problem getting rid of it if you decide digitizing vinyl is not your cup of tea.
But as usual, with everything, I could be wrong.
