Wow, now thats a goody!
yup, there used to be a 'tip of the day' section for osx on the apple website, they renamed it but it's still there somewhere, need to check myself again, basically they always show / explain a lot of hidden power, power, power... makes windows look even more like a pile of junk.

i mean THIS: ctrl + option + Apple + 8 to reverse screen colors
is the real answer to glare situations and not the kindergarten debate if glossy or non glossy screens.

it's OSX, what can you say... i am already looking so forward to tomorrow, when there will be at the user meeting shitloads of different audio interfaces... with a mac you just damn plug n' play / try them and the windows guys can have look at them  unless they find an internet connection downloading 10 different drivers, installing them and restarting about 30 times... he he, just can't stop the war... can i?

My favourite OS X trick was to turn it on and watch it use all my memory.

Ctrl + Shift + Eject = Turn Off Screen on iMac
Ctrl + Fn + Eject = Shutdown Menu
Ctrl + Scroll Wheel = Zoom

Actually no need to highlight the word, just right click on the word.

You guys may already know this, but it can be very useful, try Command-F on a Safari page, nice word search if your trying to key in on particular info.

easy screen shots w/ command + shift + 4

also, launch apps from spotlight, it's much faster than dock. Hit command + spacebar then type the first couple letters of the app. It learns quick, so launch Firefox takes less than a second and zero mouseclicks.
