[amo] [8b20] Vocoder

Post by popoff » Sat Mar 21, 2009 11:59 am

Vocoder may force Live to mute soundcard.
Noticed that when vocoder's bandwith exceeds 135%, mutes soundcard (I heard some kind of "click" and left channel went dead, while the right one played silent pink noise just like when an external microphone 's on).

Checked that after it happens, the soundcard is also busy - no external music software works, but when Live is set to silent mode (either by toggle the sound panic button, or by setting to no audio in preferences) sound works just fine.

Couldn't check with 8b22

Will send the alp via mail.

Cheers.v

Hi,

Please do try with b22, as there was a bug fixed in b21 that sound very similar to this, and let us know if you still experience a problem.
