I don't see this option in the pref's anymore, was it removed?

Hello,

Yes, it's missing from the announcement but I'll update it later. Complex Pro is a special warp mode for special situations, but certainly not good as a default, and on top of that, very CPU intensive. So for now it is not available as a default warp mode.

What if I'm a special person who would prefer a special option that lets me use this special mode as a special default?

You'd know that you can change the Warp mode on multiple clips at once, and save the setting thanks to some recent improvement :)

No, really, the main concern is CPU. Is it like so important for you?

I guess it depends on how you define important. I haven't been using a lot of clips in my songs lately, so Complex Pro as the default option in earlier beta's was never an issue as far as CPU goes for me. It was nice knowing that by default I was using the best mode possible, without having to remember to change all my clips later.
