And yes it's $3499 and comes with a fully loaded version of Live 7 + 14GIG sample library.
Somewhere between a rock and a hard place is actually nowhere.

Aside from the ipod dock and price, I like the idea of it!

I like the idea, but have to say I think the execution lets it down. As per usual, it's the little things that make a big difference for me. Namely, the screen should be tilted for easier viewing, and WHY such a limited number of knobs? I just don't get it, even with the touchscreen. That layout could make so much better use of the available space.

For each channel you really want a minimum of one fader and six knobs to control: volume, pan, 3 band EQ, and 2 send levels. Why doesn't a proper mixer layout MIDI controller exist???

Alesis M1 Active 520's / Sennheiser EH2200's
Behringer BCR2000 / misc. instruments & toys

I guess it's nice, but it's basically just a laptop plus one or two midi controllers but less flexible (although handy to have everything in one box).

Their products are not smart. They look convincing at first, but when you take a closer look they just turn me off. They're like offering you a lot of muscles with no flexibility.
