Re: Moderators, please -- censor us!
Have to say that I dislike comments like this. The indirect message it gives me is "your view isn't valid because you don't contribute so often." Personally, I'd rather post a small number of useful posts than hundreds of babble. I think it's more relevant to look at when someone joined the forum, rather than how many posts they've made.Da hand wrote:This is from a person who has only 15 posts?
All that said... I think this forum works fine as it is. It's a good balance. Even if people don't preface their post title with [OT] I can usually tell if a thread will be of interest. And sometimes I just want to chill out and chat about topics other than Live, but with people who make music using Live. Does that make sense?
I should stress that this isn't a substitute for leaving the house/office to speak with real people

you know. i understand that you dont like some posts cause your boss might see you browsing the forums and see the occasional idiotic porn pic or whatever, but the thing is this: you should work on your job. not read forums.

I'd love to see this thread censored as it is the one asking for it. Then it's gone but still succeeded. Ain't that fun?!

Please don't take my comment as too serious, it was all in jest. Of course, you're entitled not to like my post. I did look when the person joined the forum - Nov 2007. Then again I am not sure that means much. I joined the forum in 2003, does that make me one of the most experienced members for the forum? not by a long shot.six_o_clock_crow wrote:Have to say that I dislike comments like this. You have contributed 242 posts in almost the same amount of time - that is a significantly bigger number of contributions to this place than 15 posts.
Anyway you cut it, 1 week or 15 years, 15 posts to me is still a complete newbie and not really experienced enough on this forum to be asking for drastic changes to the way the place is run.
Obviously, I was not referring to all views, but only on this specific view of introducing censorship on the board. The indirect message it gives me is "your view isn't valid because you don't contribute so often."
I just threw that in for good measure
