Novation SL Mk II

Post by shai » Fri Apr 03, 2009 2:01 pm

its true that we're all over our head with the big "8".. but let's just not forget why we're here: white plastics. faders and knobs. gear crave.

Not in the slightest! It feels a bit '2001' for my liking...

I'm just relieved it's not enough for me to want to upgrade my SL25 Remote Mk1

maybe they'll pull a Korg and release them in black in a few months. I just don't get why they eliminated the second LCD screen... How the fuck are you supposed to know which tracks the faders are controlling without moving them? i like the new faders, crossfader, knobs. i'm sure the drum pads feel better. but it could've been the complete package with just a couple more features.... FAIL!!!

I agree, black would look cooler. Especially if it was the black kinda brushed metal look that the newer guitar rig session and mobile interfaces from NI have.

i also think it`s stupid to kill the second lcd. the best of the mk I for me is also the controlpossibility of the faders with visual feedback

right now there are huge price drops for the mk1 series in germany

25 keys http://www.thomann.de/de/novation_remote25_sl.htm
37 keys http://www.thomann.de/de/novation_remot ... dition.htm

a remote 25 sl for 249,- euros is really a good price in my opinion.

I think it looks white in the photo, but it's aluminium in real life.
