But I saw this, and I recognized your screen name, and I just wanted to let you know that my thoughts are with you and your family. Update: Some good news, finally! Charmaine's blood pressure is normal with little medication. Her heart rate is normal. She had a good night. She is breathing well with the ventilator, which should be out in a day. She is conscious and can write notes. Hard to feel optimistic, but the doctors are now hopeful. Thx to everyone for love & support, and Happy Easter. The worldwide positive vibes are working!

On a personal note, I have to say how touched I am at the incredible number of responses here. It just proves to me once again that a relationship is what you put into it, regardless of space or time or physical contact. I've never met most of you, but I consider many of you very close friends via email, txt, phone. And to see this kind of support at such a difficult time just makes all the time I spend here COMPLETELY worth it. Much love to you guys, and thanks for the continued support.

Glad to hear the much improved news on Charmaine, my wife and I said a little prayer (we believe even if others don't) and we'll continue to hope for improved health in the forthcoming days. This is a better day knowing Mrs. Neb had a better night last night and is seemingly on the mend.

^ I'm feeling a lot better about it today, but we're still in Intensive Care, so things can change quickly. Even when we get out, it may be months of therapy before we get back to normal. But yeah, all the prayers and good wishes really are coming through. Whatever you believe, be it metaphysical, otherworldly, religious, or science (bitches), at the end of the day, our humanity shines when we come together for one another. And to have so many of you all over the world thinking of and caring for a women you've never met...it is a tremendous thing. THANK YOU ALL.
