Huskervu broken?
Huskervu broken?
I've been trying to set up Live 7.0.15 with a BCR2000 and Huskervu. I am pretty sure I have everything routed correctly. However, Huskervu will not show my data. Sometimes it is blank, sometimes it shows "Audio 1 Audio 2" and a bit of info, but not what it should show. And when I exit, the window stays open and the process keeps running. I have to end it in Task Manager.
I thought I may have read that it needs .NET 1.1, and may not work on a newer version. Has anybody heard that it doesn't work on the newer dotNET? Or, has anybody recently had problems or software/system conflicts? Also, is there another app I might try to get visual feedback from the BCR?
I'm on WinXP Home SP3. All components updated regularly.
Thanks for any help.

Re: Huskervu broken?
hmm
I am fuzzy on this issue but I've had problems with .NET versions / service packs when using old hardware and software.
is this just a music computer, and do you really need to run SP3??
the only other program I know of is LCXmu but that's for mac

Re: Huskervu broken?
Hi.
Well, I wouldn't roll back to SP2 just for one program. Huskervu is old, and doesn't seem to be updated or supported.
Just thought I'd see if it's only me.
Thanks.

Re: Huskervu broken?
I'm still on SP1 because I can't have .NET 2

Re: Huskervu broken?
wait, bits and pieces are coming back
can you use the behringer app? BCView, or whatever it's called
I think the main difference is that it is not a resizeable window, (it doesn't really match the width of the BC, depending on screen resolution & size)

Re: Huskervu broken?
indeed huskervu needs the .NET framework 1.1. if you install .NET framework 3.5 only it won´t work. simply install the .NET framework 1.1 and it should work. if you got .NET framework 3.5 installed already, you don´t have to uninstall it.
btw, which virtual midi port software are you using?

Re: Huskervu broken?
I found the problem. I was using Musiclab's MIDIoverLAN CP3 for the virtual port, and apparently it doesn't like Huskervu. I Installed MIDIYoke, and things are fine now.
I already had .NET 1,2, & 3 installed, so that wasn't part of the problem.
Thank you all for your helpful replies!
