Sampler not properly converting .gig format?

I just dropped in a Giga Sampler file into my Live 8.0.3 browser, my computer went to work and produced for me a Sampler patch that would play some great sounding harp samples. The problem though is these AIFFs are bonkers! I'm getting crazy 2bit sounds, like these aren't even aifs.

Second move was to import via Logic's EXS24 and that worked as expected, so I don't think it's my GigaHarp patch.

Haven't tried importing the newly created EXS24 patches into Sampler...
