Okay, first off if you are going to read this and you are only going to reply just to tell me how stupid my question is or how stupid i am, etc. please take your keyboard and shove it up your nerdy ass, im just looking for helpful people, not annoying jackasses who have no life other than to rag on others for not being as up to date on technology as they are. That being said, i just got ableton today and im already makin sweet beats, songs etc, but one problem, i dont know how to save what i make, i can save the live set, sure, but i mean how do you save like the actual song you make into a file playable on a media player, or a file you can put on a cd? please take first comment into notice, and thanks.

make sure you highlight your arrangement before rendering to disk.
otherwise you will just get silence.

Hehe...
Though you will find a lot of emotion, and opinion on this forum most everyone here is quite willing to lend a hand when someone needs advice or help. Please do not be off put by the sometimes charged discussions you might browse across around here and be sure to ALWAYS ask for help... you might be suprised at how many ways there are to accomplish the same task in Live. Did you know that you sould send all your songs tracks through a single audio track, and record your set to a file there in real-time? Some of use like to do things that way, usually as part of a technique called "stem-mixing". PM me if you'd like more info...
