OT: Songs we can't get out of our heads recently

Post by aizo » Mon Jun 15, 2009 3:27 pm

I have 2!

One is the "I Monster" song:

Second is this Japanese pop band "Perfume." They're sub par singers and sometimes get the infamous autotune but who ever is making their tracks knows some tight ass production, I especially love the bass lines. It even kicks the wicked voice sample solo at the end

The japanese should stick to what they are best at, awesome ambient sounds played in the rain before a fight or epic battle. That jpop song made my ears shit themselves

poker face, that lady gaga tune. they play kissfm in the gym i go to round the corner and its always on. i quite like it. that sodding lily allen song is on too, which i just think is utter toss. "blah blah i want lots of diamonds, i heard people die while trying to find them". thats just rubbish

There's this tv program called Saturday Kitchen, and they compete to cook omelettes in the fastest possible time. The music from that.

this is one thread you DON'T want to read, you'll get some crappy song stuck in your head.

it's like when someone opens a spoiled carton of milk in the fridge, they smell it and proclaim "EEEEEEEWWWWWWWW that's awful!!! here, smell this!!" umm, no thanks.

oh, and right now I have 'Grapevine Fire' by Death Cab stuck in my head, but I put it on so it's OK.

The theme songs to ultraman mebius.
The theme songs to ultraman gaia.
The theme songs to magirangers.

I watch those with my son, who LOVES Japanese monster-of-the-week kid shows, so they kind of stick.
They're actually kind of catchy. I don't mind so much.

never under-rate the Japanese. They save the good stuff for themselves...
