rendering multiple clips on one track in arrange view

Post by bluskreen » Wed Jun 17, 2009 3:15 am

i have multiple clips cut up across a 2 hour set recorded to one track in live.

does anyone know if there's a way to render the edits all at once? right now i have to select each clip in arrange view and then render them separately since they're all different lengths. i know you can render multiple tracks at once, but it seems you cannot render multiple clips across one track in arrange view.

i could consolidate them into new clips, but the consolidated audio file won't be rendered with effects on the master channel.

am i missing something?

thanks:)

i don't think you're missing anything

maybe render the whole thing, then cut it apart and crop?

or pull it apart onto different tracks?

thanks for getting back! i could render the whole thing w/ effects, but then i'll have to go back and re-edit it again. i tried moving the clips to separate tracks to render all at once, but live only lets me render all tracks to same length. i guess there's no way? it would greatly speed up the workflow if i didn't have to render/wait, render/wait, render/wait...
