I say boycott ableton. If they can't discriminate between who deserves an APC40 first and who doesn't, based on experience, and get an akai product to wherever you live before the noobs, they don't deserve your business. Simple as that.

Those clip launching noob bastards.
Who do they think they are?

The suits over at Akai should know you've been using Live since version 3.
This doesn't mean you're really patient.
It means you're dedicated!
You should have been one of the testers.
Why weren't you contacted?
Someone is going to loose their everloving ass over this one. :|

Maybe John Gordon could straighten this out?

It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.

says the guy who has >200 posts. I hate hate hate when people don't contribute but feel entitled and superior. Hate it.

Ha. Then again, maybe you not saying anything on this forum might be good for the music business. Do your part to help and keep quiet.
15" PB 2.5 Ghz, 4 Gig RAM, 750 GB HD, Live 9 still no cue points or program change messages?!?. Doesn't do shit.

Hehehe.
Well, I'm relatively noob, and so far mostly use it for...
Clip Launching

But, damn, it sure beats doing it with the mouse.

In all seriousness, it actually has really solidified my workflow, and brought front-and-center a few things about Live that I almost never used before. It's a work of art, IMHO.

Sorry for those who pre-ordered and haven't received it.
I didn't pre-order, on purpose (been burned before), and picked it up the week after launch that the local GC (who had 4 more).

Lesson:
Pre-orders can burn you. Unless you got a huge discount.
