Start Clip at Last Bar of previous Scene?

Post by gabster » Tue Jun 30, 2009 9:27 pm

Gang!

Let's see if I can explain this...

What's a common (logical) way of adding a clip in session mode, where it actually starts out in the last bar of the previous scene?

Looks like something like this:

Code: Select all

|------- Scene 1 -------|------- Scene 2 -------|
|---Bar 1---|---Bar 2---|---Bar 1---|---Bar 2---|
            |-------- Clip ---------------------|
Does that make sense?

Thanks!

Thanks a lot for the tips!

So great to have people who already went through this and are willing to share! THANK YOU!

Also discovered that I can insert silence to an audio clip by selecting the clip and the measures before that clip and hitting Command-J to consolidate. This way my clip won't play for the 7 bars out of that 8 that's needed in the scene. Bar 8 is then the "pickup bar" for the following scene -

Thanks again!
