Abes Team: Thank you for Samplification

Post by Willyum » Fri Jul 03, 2009 3:13 pm

I'm one of the people that bitch and moan when I see what I think are faults in Live. I do it cause I want Live to continue being the Best.

Now I'd like to take this time to say Thank You for this free Samplification Live Pack. I personally have felt like I was missing a quality Piano in Live (one of the many new sounds in Samplification), and from time to time use other apps to get that sound that I needed. All in all, this is a great Live pack, one of the best so far. Great work!!!

You guys already have the best DAW and are getting closer and closer to being the Perfect Daw (if we can just get that timestretch in Sampler/Simpler... he he  )

I just D/L'd it but do I really need to update to 8.0.4? I'm happy with 8.0.2

I personally haven't been too impressed so far. But I think it's great that they put out free packs for everyone. And it does remind me of what's possible with sampler and how much fun it is to work with. I think this particular set just isn't as much to my liking as other stuff.

Digging through these presets has also made me realize how much I love the sound objects lite collection. I don't go into the presets much, but nice when you rediscover something like that.

Why are they all worried by those updates.

You'll ever keep the previous version with live. It's always installing the newer version in a new folder!

Stop worrying and go making music damnit

totally agree. not only is there LOTS of stuff in the live8 suite, but a great portion of it is usable, quality, detailed work. Nice. Samplification is just more icing on the cake with the suite library....

thanks Abes!

Hi guys,

Glad you're liking the new content.

By the way, Samplification installs a handful of new Slicing Presets for Sampler. These weren't really mentioned in the announcement. ;-)

Cheers,
Daniel
