What the hell happened to my session?

Post by Beatport » Tue Jul 28, 2009 9:58 pm

OK, this is messing up my mind. It has never happened before and seems like some kind of sample rate issue.

I had a rocking live session going for a job I'm doing. I saved it last night and came back to it today and everything has slowed down. The MIDI clips have slowed down - the audio has slowed down. What the hell is happening?

The thing that is screwing with my head is that even the MIDI data is playing back at almost half time. I listen to the audio in the finder and it seems the files are permanently affected - like the live instruments I recorded have all been slowwwwwed dowwwwwwwn.

Any suggestions please?

Figured it out.

Moral of the story, don't accidentally have your audio editing app open at a different sample rate than your Live session.

Ha! Lame...
