This morning i received a mail that an APC has been sent out to me. So Akai delivered a bunch of APC's, but not enough to satisfy the demand at Thomann. I preordered on 14.05.09.

You should try to order something in France
the french rip-offs make you pay 30c to 1,30 per minute (telephone) if you got a problem, and shipping is expensive and only 1 year warranty

I bet the manufacturer has been very conservative with his first production quantity. There's a good reason for this. Counting pre-orders make it much easier to scale the production.

I prepared my tracks to get a quick entry with this thing and it seems to
work. I am just in the middle of a procession but i put out in the middle of the removal my laptop out and connected the apc. in an hour i have lateshift...so not much time left.

It seems Thomann really got an delivery end of June. So its just a question of preordering-rank

Yeah, mine arrived yesterday too, as i wrote, preordered on 14.05.09. Very nice so far, mouse use minus 70% i'd say. Good fun...

no really... then you just have your APC40 on the table, and it is great, and you totally enjoy it, you are happy like a child, then a month, two, it's still ok, then after half a year its kind of.. there... another 3 months, APC60 comes out.. hmm... you say fuck it, i like my APC40.. but it it has this annoying hiss.. oh what the hell... who needs an integrated audio interface and another set of 4 knobs and RGB ... but then when the APC100 comes out (we're now 2011) there's already a big hole in your heart and you know - something is missing in my setup.

so now, it's the best time.

actually, I hope they go the monome route and do the APC128/256.

if it had an MPK25 built into it as well, to take up all the extra space, that'd be amazing =D
