Nice performance yesterday, with a sometimes very dominant Miles Davis trumpet guy (:-)), but with also some very creative people around. Good fun..!

Yeah, next time we talk - just come up and say hello to Shai or me! Visuals were good eh; when we're there with the laptops, we don't see so much of it, but it's a really nice background effect and definitely makes things more interesting to look at! Marc is the guy behind the visuals - there's all sorts of physical modelling going on on his laptop to take into account the shape of the room, so that the images aren't distorted...

visuals are from Marc Tiedemann. really good job he did. i raised my head like 3 times during the night and have always been stoked. last time we agreed - if this jam session is the modern version of the hippy camp-fire gathering, then the video got to be the fire it really works that way to me.

another meeting is coming soon your way... keeping the party like vibe that is, but i don't want to let it drift into a beerfest and like to provide a workshop part, next to our usual 'open stage' for everyone who comes along with his lappy, soundcard, cables and a live set of course...

question is, what topic, preferably Live8 related would you like to see... ?

hmmm ok, i just thought maybe something more specific L8 related not sound design that applies to any synth... operator or not...

like: looper, grooves, etc. or just something a bit more specific to Live or production in general, playing live rather then tweaking sounds, that i believe, don't get me wrong here, everyone can do nerdy for hours in his bedroom easy on his own...

but i keep it in mind, keep it coming... please.

keep on posting here about news and events...

by the way, besides being quite new to the city I'm also quite new to Live and I'd like to start using it properly (I have a v.7 license but I grew up with other hosts, Logic mostly, and you know it's hard to change your habits...).
Any good soul here around that is good in showing/teaching a bit of his/her knowledge? I'm broken at the moment, but you could enjoy some homemade italian food and drink
