making a controller button toggle in logic

Post by theque » Sat Aug 29, 2009 4:37 am

i am trying to assign a button on my tascam 1082 controller to a button in a plug in in logic 8. i can get it to assign the button in learn mode but the problem is that i want the button to stay clicked on, not momentarily as long as i have the button held down.

i am sure there is a simple solution, i just can't find it.

thanks for the help as always

Did you take a left on Logic Lane instead of a right on Ableton Avenue? 8O

your midi controller sends on messages when pressed down and off notes when lifted. change your midi pedal to send ON on one stomp then OFF on the next stomp. or change the thing being controlled to only respond to ON messages or only OFF messages. make sense?

fuck Logic, fuck their forums. try posting that on their forum. ;) buncha iPussies.
